The Village Store, Weybourne

Convenience store, Coffee Shop and Deli on the North Norfolk coast.

The Village Store is situated in the heart of Weybourne, a picturesque fishing village on the North Norfolk coast.

It was established in 1926 by the Thurtle family, who still live in the village today. It has undergone many changes but has primarily been a convenience store up until 2010 when the Joll family bought it and refurbished it to achieve a modern feel, yet be in keeping with the ''old village store'' style.

Although there is still a large convenience element within the store, selling newspapers, groceries and other daily essentials, there is now also a fantastic deli counter with great pasties, pastries and sponge cakes.

The new traditional Italian-style coffee machine has proven to be a great hit with local and tourists alike, producing freshly ground espresso based coffees; lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos and more.

You can enjoy your food and drink inside, at the coffee bar, outside at the picnic tables, or take them away - the beach is only a 5 minute scenic walk away.

There is also a luxury one bedroom holiday apartment, TideAway, situated above the store - making those shopping trips quick and hassle free. For holiday lets and further details, please see the TideAway website.
